About

The Michigan Waste & Recycling Association represents businesses and municipalities that provide waste- and recycling-related services. The group’s members advocate for safe, economically sustainable and environmentally sound waste hauling, disposal, recycling, composting and landfill gas-to-energy programs. MWRA member companies pick up our trash and convert it to power. They collect our recyclables and send them to be made into new products. In essence, they provide a way for the residents of Michigan to put discarded items to use as a valuable resource.
